Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking suitable candidates for the position of Senior Quality Engineer for a company that designs, develops and manufactures automotive interior finishes and complex kinematic assemblies for the most well-known automotive brands on the planet.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead Customer interface for Quality Claims & Coordination with Quality Team in China
• Setup the Containment actions in Customer side or/and inhouse
• NG parts collection and first investigation to be shared with CQM in China
• Follow the Customer 8D responses in Portal, alert the team in case of due date
• Support Quality & Program team in Sampling / PPAP with Customers
• Strongly defend / Negotiate company purpose with Customer, Supplier, Internal
• Manage internal Quality in Advanced Warehouse/ Outsourcing Plant in Czech Republic
• Improve the Quality KPIs (Scrap, Overhead, Cost, ect) in daily, weekly and Monthly basis
• Responsible for Non-Conform Incoming Materials from China or Suppliers in Europe
• Participate in cross-functional teams meetings when necessary
• Lead Customer quality audits and ensure Process and Product Audits are conducted
• Ensure compliance to IATF, VDA, Formel Q Quality Systems
• Other direct tasks/ Assignments from the line Manager
• Train and provide guidance to other team members regarding Quality

The requirements:

• Experience in a similar position of Quality Engineer
• Fluent communication & Negotiation Skills in English with Customers
• Good knowledge of Problem-Solving tools & Logical thinking
• Preferred Knowledge of VW Group CSR, Formel Q, VDA 6.3 VDA 6.5 Audits
• Strong knowledge of Quality Tools: APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC and MSA
• Mastery of quality systems IATF16949
• Understanding of cost and financial impacts
